There are many benefits for upgrading to the latest version of Maximo but traditionally the process causes costly downtime that you want to avoid. Now, the SRO Dynamic Upgrader (SDU) provides a flexible solution that removes downtime as well as offering additional benefits.
The solution offers Upgrades with no downtime to your live Maximo server, enabling a realistic and practical upgrade process to allow for rigorous testing and user acceptance. The SDU enables an offline upgrade and migration process, running in parallel and capturing all changes made to the old version. Thereby allowing users to remain on the previous version during the entire upgrade process until cut-over to the new version, with only the downtime it takes for your users to log into the new version, as either version of Maximo will always be available.
