Cabis sign partner agreement with SRO Solutions  :

SRO to promote Cabis Safety & Quality solutions to the maritime market.

CabisManchester, UK (17th November 2005): SRO Solutions Ltd today announced it has signed a ‘Systems Integrator Partner Agreement' with Cabis Solutions Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, SRO will promote, sell & deliver Cabis Solutions software products to the maritime market.

Cabis & SRO"We are very pleased with our new partnership with Cabis. From the start of SRO we set out to "add value" and work with ‘best-of-breed products', therefore the partnership with Cabis further complements our main business objectives and significantly strengthens our product portfolio", said Steve Driver, SRO's Director. He continued, "Safety & Quality are of paramount importance in our industry and software is an essential tool for managing the administration. Unfortunately many of the traditional maritime software products tend to be over complicated, inflexible & not very user friendly and, when considering the usually necessary bespoke modifications and ongoing annual fees, the total cost of ownership for such systems becomes very high".

Cabis Solutions Ltd is software and services UK based company that provides tailored business applications to support continuous business improvement.  Cabis is founded on industry and business standards, such as ISO, IIP and Business Excellence models and offers solutions to all industry sectors that support quality. With specific areas of software expertise within the Maritime industry, the Cabis Safety & Quality Management system provides flexible and cost effective incident management, together with continuous preventative and corrective action management.
"The system is developed in Microsoft .NET and operates on a variety of SQL database platforms. The combination of shipboard ‘thin-client' and office ‘smart-client' interfaces ensure flexibility and user-friendliness as well as a simple but effective means of replication using XML file data exchange",  said Dr Adrian Dore, Managing Director for Cabis.

He continued, "Based on our initial involvement with the maritime industry through the successful delivery of a 300 user system to Jo Tankers for their 25 vessel fleet and worldwide offices, along with extensive market research we quickly identified a large demand but also recognized the need for the most effective distribution channels. SRO brings to the table many years of experience, market knowledge and reputation; therefore we are delighted to have formed this partnership".

He concluded; "Cabis is committed to developing and delivering data solutions for the Marine industry and therefore our partnership with SRO will allow both companies to benefit from our respective strengths and industry expertise which in turn will benefit our respective customers".
